Epic Games, the company behind the Fortnite franchise, is bringing back the 14 Days of Fortnite for a short duration of time until 15 January 2019.The 14 Days of Fortnite is a Limited Time Event in Fortnite: Battle Royale that went live around Christmas, and allowed players to complete a slew of challenges for exciting rewards. The event ended earlier, but after a huge outcry from the fans, Epic Games, via Twitter, announced the return of the popular LTE.Players who were unable to complete those Challenges will be able to earn all of the rewards they may have initially missed out on. All Challenges will be available to complete for the entire duration of the event. Unfortunately, progress on partially completed challenges has to be reset. The decision by Fortnite's developers brought in mixed emotions from the fans regarding the return of the '14 Days of Fortnite' Limited Time Event, and we present some of the best reactions by the fans on Twitter regarding the event's comeback. Many thanked Epic Games for resurrecting the event from death and acknowledged that they would now be able to complete all the challenges.OMG thankyou @FortniteGame for extending the 14 days of fortnite i think i'm in love with u— todoroki 🌱 (@peachesandjoon) January 8, 2019Eeps! The 14 Days of @FortniteGame - has been EXTENDED!!😍😍😍— ☿ 𝑀𝒶𝓇𝓁𝒶 𝒯𝓇𝒾𝒷𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉 ☿ (@MarlaTribbett) January 8, 2019Thanks @FortniteGame for bringing back 14 days of Christmas I couldn’t do it the first time because I was on Christmas vacay— Seth Micah (@SethMicah2) January 8, 2019However, a few felt that the extension of the event was unnecessary as it defeated the core idea behind the LTM.Why did u call it 14 days of fortnite if u just gonna extend it anyway. pic.twitter.com/RYOn32M1oT— PinkWolf (@pinkwolfff) January 7, 2019but it literally was up for 14 dayswhats the point of having a event being named 14 days of fortnite to just extend it for 21 days— destiny arrives (@VMrbeef) January 7, 2019Buuuu.. Stop doing this. You always fall back on things. 14 days of Christmas was well known only to last for 14 days.. Wanst online. Well to ducking bad— Kim Sandbye (@Tassen37) January 8, 2019Few others felt that the people who managed to complete all the challenges during the initial period deserved an extra reward for their accomplishment.@FortniteGame I feel like the players that got the 14 days of Fortnite challenges done the first time the challenges came out should get something.— Adam Sweeting (@Twirlythrone87) January 8, 2019The truth for me is unfair to extend the date of 14 days of fortnite, or minimum should give a reward to those who completed them in the time it should. Please take my opinion and do something about it, since I do not think I'm the only one to be dissatisfied.— Alverio Garcia :v (@Alverio_paps) January 7, 2019It wasn't long before requests started pouring in to bring back the Omega Challenges.@FortniteGame @EpicGames Since you brought back the 14 days of Fortnite challenges, you might as well bring back the Omega challenges. Just sayin' ;)— HamSandvich (@pinney_mike) January 8, 2019@FortniteGame Since you're bringing back the 14 days of fortnite challanges why not bring back the omega challanges?— weed (@___weeed___) January 6, 2019There was also a Tweet that pleaded the developers to vault the infamous plane after 14 Days of Fortnite. This Tweet joins the long list of demands by fans calling for vaulting of the plane and various other items.Vault planes after 14 days of Fortnite @FortniteGame pic.twitter.com/x0kE1xcAyn— Dom (@ItsMeGr1m) January 8, 2019Fortnite: Battle Royale is available for Microsoft Windows, MacOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and select Android devices.Read more:Fortnite - Complete GuideFortnite System Requirements For PC, MAC, Android & iOSGet all the latest Video Game News on Sportskeeda.
