#2. The Simpsons Hit & Run

The Simpsons Hit & Run was sort of the Simpsons version of Grand Theft Auto and came out for PC, Xbox 360, GameCube and the PlayStation 3 in 2003. It gave fans a chance to explore Springfield and play as each member of the Simpsons family.

There's a ton of fan service in this one from the various unlockables, costumes and cars available. It's unfortunate that this one never got a remaster.

#1. South Park: The Fractured But Whole

In my opinion, the best video games based on television shows have to be Ubisoft's take on South Park. I'm going to put The Fractured But Whole in this list instead of the Stick of Truth because the sequel really did improve everything.

Both the Ubisoft South Park games carry that trademark South Park charm and wit and of course the profanity. They're not just fun for fans of RPG's and South Park, for gamers in general.
