"Argos is whales' content": Lost Ark players discuss if new classes should have been released in place of Abyss raids

Lost Ark's western release has a bit of limitations regarding the classes available in the game. This point has arisen once again after the game's recent updates added new end-game content in the form of T3 Abyss raids. While the end-game content is nice for players who have entered the end-game, many players believe that expanding classes is where the attention should have been.

The western version of Lost Ark offers 15 advanced classes to the players. While this allows many options for players, the presence of more classes in the Korean version is a bone of contention.

One player seemed to believe that Argos is content meant for premium players and that Amazon Games has deliberately focused on it for the same reason.

More servers in the Korean version are due to the longer duration of existence. However, Reddit user u/SolomonRed posted that Amazon Games could perhaps release new classes instead of Argos (Abyss Raids).

When a suggestion sees massive acceptance, it pretty much means that the main suggestion is on point. It's not just u/SolomonRed asking for more classes as other players also agreed.

A major area of concern with the lack of a new class is that players know which classes are missing. It could be a case where a player will play with an alternate account for more than a year or main a character, which isn't their first choice.

Another player agreed with this person as they stated that the class they're playing is not their preferred one.

One player chose to stay away from comparisons but mentioned their favorite class. The Lance Master is yet to be added to the western version.

Another player mentioned how they have already invested a lot of hours in a class they don't want to continue with.

One player mentioned one of the best insights by saying that any content will make some people happy and others unhappy.

One player did state that having improper content for T3 could also be poor for the game.

Another member also shared a similar opinion about Amazon providing updates that would just make players spend more.

A member perfectly summed up why all the content hasn't been launched. It was definitely possible for Amazon Games to launch with more classes but. However, not doing so has given the developers a lot of content to release in the coming years on the western servers.

It will be interesting to see when the new classes make their way into the game. There was a leaked roadmap recently but that has since been taken down. While Lost Ark players have ideas about which classes are to come, what remains unknown is the date and order of addition.
