Certain weapons from the older game made an appearance in the Code Vein 2 trailer. One of them is the popular Bayonet rifle. This time, it was held by a potential boss or mini-boss and can only be seen for a split second as it appears in the hands of the entity.

2) The Lost Broadsword

Another valuable weapon that appears in the trailer for a quick second is the Lost Broadsword. You can see it as soon as the first portal opens up in the trailer. It can be seen on the right side of the screen, buried in a body. Most of its length is not visible, but its handle and upper half indicate that it's most likely the Lost Broadsword from Code Vein 2019.

3) Different timelines

The official Code Vein 2 blurb suggests that the female lead, Lou, has time-travel-related abilities and that players must take up the fight in two different eras. A portal also opens up in the trailer, showing a potential journey to the past. It is likely that the new game may have the players switching between the past and the present to fight different monstrosities along the way.

Therefore, the fights in Code Vein 2 may occur in two different eras simultaneously.

4) Traversal abilities and potential map sizes

A motorcycle is clearly visible in the Code Vein 2 trailer. This is not a hallmark vehicle or feature from the previous games. While the vehicle itself may have been rather clear, its implications run deeper.

Traversal abilities, such as using vehicles, could indicate even larger maps where you may need fast travel using a motorbike or other vehicles. This has not been the case with the original Code Vein game released in 2019.

5) Possible major boss revealed

Of all the big gnarly mini-boss and boss fight glimpses, one particularly stands out. A short glimpse is caught towards the end of the video, close to the two-minute mark. A face with closed eyes floats around the waist of a potential boss in the game.

This could be more powerful. Horror corrupted by Luna Rapacis, the new threat challenging and terrorizing the world of Revenants in Code Vein 2. The face's iconography appears almost moon-like, covered in white, but also features the hallmark gold featured in the entire trailer.
