No better way to start this list than one of the most anticipated survival horror titles in recent times. After RE8: Village, players have been looking forward to the next mainline installment in the survival horror series. Resident Evil Requiem debuted at the Summer Game Fest 2025 with a reveal trailer.
It features Grace Ashcroft, as she is sent into the mysterious Remwood Hotel to investigate a disease. The trailer also showed a post-nuke Raccoon City. The tense trailer implies a return to the series' horror roots.
2) Dying Light: The Beast

Dying Light: The Beast is a standalone adventure that puts you in the shoes of the first game's protagonist, Kyle Crane. After being tortured by the Baron for years, you escape the site and plan revenge on him. The sequel features the signature aspects of the Dying Light franchise, like an open-world survival horror experience with satisfying melee combat and parkour.
That said, there are also some additions to the series formula, like a beast mode. It transforms Kyle into a monster and allows him to rip zombies to shreds with his bare hands. You also gain a new 4x4 vehicle, allowing you to travel off-road.
3) Stranger Than Heaven

Stranger Than Heaven, originally dubbed Project Century, is the new single-player game by Ryu Ga Gotoku. The developer provided consecutive hits with the recent Like A Dragon titles, however, this is its first new IP in a long time. The trailer puts you in the shoes of a detective named Mako Daito. While the last trailer dropped you in 1914, the new one skips ahead to 1984.
Thus, with a codename like Project Century, the narrative will probably jump across different years. The Summer Game Fest 2025 trailer focuses on the survival mechanics of the title. You can see hunger and thirst meters in the HUD in a brief shot. Thus, it looks like Stranger Than Heaven will have some simulation and survival elements as well.
4) Code Vein 2

The next big title revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025 is Code Vein 2. The first souls-like offering mixed an anime aesthetic with a robust action RPG combat system. Its unique Blood Veil mechanic added further depth.
The campaign of Code Vein 2 will revolve around time. Due to a threat known as Luna Rapacis' appearance, Ravagers are turning into mindless monsters. To prevent the world's ruin, you'll need to travel back to the past to find a solution.
5) Chrono Odyssey

Chrono Odyssey was one of the pleasant surprises at Summer Game Fest 2025. It is an action MMORPG utilizing Unreal Engine 5. The main gimmick of the title is its Chronodetector: An artifact that allows you to stop time around monsters or rewind a character's time. This adds further depth and builds on the game's dynamic combat system.
You will fight unique crowds and bosses, including human-esque monsters and three-tailed beasts. You can also select from different ranged and melee weapons like bows, axes, staffs, bows, swords, daggers, etc.
6) Mortal Shell 2

The first title revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025 was Mortal Shell 2. The sequel to the dark fantasy armor-focused souls-like builds on its predecessor's mechanics. Furthermore, the title's amazing art style renders its grim world beautifully. The sequel features new enemies, Shells, and ranged weapons.
Mortal Shell 2 has also started enrolling players for its closed beta test. Thus, if PC gamers are interested in playing the title early, they can sign up for the beta. Note that only Steam players can register for the test.
7) Atomic Heart 2

Another sequel revealed at the Summer Game Fest 2025 is one of Mundfish's Atomic Heart. The latter became known for its unique retrofuturistic Soviet Union utopia filled with unique robots, and the sequel aims to build on that. The trailer unveiled many fresh automaton designs that you'll go against in the game.
Furthermore, the footage showcased the many mechanics you will be able to use, like grappling, shooting while wall-running, parachuting, etc. Thus, it looks like players will be able to engage with the world in more ways than the prequel allowed.
Those were the highlights of Summer Game Fest 2025.
