Dynamo comes equipped with a full range of support abilities. His primary role is to manage groups of enemies and heal allies. His crowd-control abilities include Kinetic Pulse and Singularity, which, when used correctly, can lead to multi-kills. To complement these, he has been given a short teleport option to escape dire situations. Additionally, he can heal himself and his allies in a small area around him.

Dynamo’s abilities in Deadlock explained:

  • Kinetic Pulse - Releases a shockwave that travels forward. Enemies in its path are knocked up into the air. (Cooldown time is 26s)
  • Quantum Entanglement - Blink out of existence and teleport a short distance. (Cooldown is 13s)
  • Rejuvenating Aurora - Heal yourself and your allies in a small radius around you. (Cooldown is 43s)
  • Singularity - Pulls enemies towards you and stuns them. (Cooldown is 189s)

These will help you play the Hero to his maximum potential as you progress through the match and ultimately get your preferred Deadlock Dynamo build.

1) Early game

The basic items to buy for a good Deadlock Dynamo build during early game are:

  • Basic Magazine: +24% Ammo, +15% Weapon Damage.
  • Close Quarters: +25% Weapon Damage (up to 15m range)
  • High-Velocity Mag: +30% Bullet Velocity, +12% Weapon Damage, +50 Bullet Shield Health
  • Mystic Burst: +40 Spirit Shield Health, +6% Weapon Damage, 35 bonus Spirit Damage for abilities dealing 80 or more damage in a single hit (Passive - cooldown of 6.2s)
  • Extra Charge: +1 Bonus Ability Charge, +10% Cooldown reduction for charged abilities, +6% Weapon Damage
  • Extra Stamina: +1 Stamina, +10% Stamina Recovery, +7% Fire Rate

2) Mid game

The basic items to buy for an effective Deadlock Dynamo build during mid game are:

  • Bullet Armor: +20% Bullet Resist, +6% Weapon Damage
  • Spirit Armor: +20% Spirit Resist, +5 Spirit Power
  • Combat Barrier: +300 Bullet Shield Health, +28% Weapon Damage and +8% Fire Rate while already shielded (Passive)
  • Bullet Resist Shredder: +100 Bonus Health, +5% Bullet Resist, -12% Bullet Resist on enemies for 8s when Spirit Damage is dealt (Passive)
  • Headhunter: +50% Bullet Velocity, +15% Weapon damage, +150 Bullet Shield Health, (+140 Bonus Headshot Damage, 8% Heal per Headshot, +2m/s Move Speed for 3s with a 6s cooldown - Passive)
  • Point Blank: +15% Bullet Resist, +1 Stamina, when within 15m of your opponent gain +45% Weapon Damage, and apply 25% Movement Slow to enemies (for 2s)
  • Warp Stone (Active): +20% Weapon Damage, +8 Spirit Power. Upon activation, 11m teleport range, +30% Bullet Resist (for 5s) - cooldown of 16s
  • Pristine Emblem: +25% Weapon Damage, +12 Spirit Power, +12% Spirit Resist, for enemies above 50% health gain +25% Weapon Damage
  • Intensifying Magazine: +25% Ammo, +20% Weapon Damage. Increases Weapon Damage as you continuously fire your weapon - Maximum 75% Weapon Damage for 3s.
  • Superior Stamina: +3 Stamina, +20% Stamina Recovery, +30% Air jump/Dash distance, +7% Fire Rate, +8 Spirit Power. Increases the number of Air jumps/Dashes that can be performed before landing from 1 to 2.

3) Late game

The basic items to buy for a good Deadlock Dynamo build during late game are:

  • Glass Cannon: +70% Weapon Damage, +10% Fire Rate, +1m/s Move Speed, -15% Maximum Health. Each Hero kill grants permanent Weapon Damage of 10% (maximum 7 times), while death results in the loss of 1 stack.
  • Siphon Bullets: +28% Weapon Damage. 45 Max HP Steal from enemies per bullet (Passive) - 20s steal duration and 0.8s maximum frequency. Enemies regain their stolen health once the debuff expires. Permanently steal 1 stack of health if a siphoned target dies and lose 2 stacks if you die.
  • Crippling Headshot: +20% Weapon Damage, +10% Bullet Lifesteal, +10% Spirit Lifesteal. Headshots reduce the target's Bullet Resist by 24% and Spirit Resist by 24% for 4s.
  • Improved Bullet Armor: +45% Bullet Resist, +10% Weapon Damage
  • Improved Spirit Armor: +45% Spirit Resist, +8 Spirit Power
  • Unstoppable (Active): +150 Bonus Health, +15% Spirit Resist, +1m/s Move Speed, +12 Spirit Power. Once activated, suppress negative status effects and become immune to Stun, Silence, Sleep, Root, and Disarm for 6s. The cooldown time is 64s.
  • Curse (Active): +20% Weapon damage, +8 Spirit Power. Upon activation, curses an enemy - interrupting, silencing, disarming, and preventing item usage. The cast range is 20m and the enemy is silenced for 3.25s.
  • Refresher (Active): +16% Spirit Resist, +8% Bullet Resist. On activation, reset the cooldown of all your abilities and restore all your charges.
  • Superior Cooldown: +32% Imbued ability cooldown reduction, +24% Non-Imbued ability cooldown reduction, +4 Health Regen.

A combination of these items, along with your personal preferences, will give you the best Deadlock Dynamo build. It is important to note that end-game items cost more in the shop than the early-game ones. Therefore, you should carefully spend your earned Spirits throughout the match and get the items in order of requirement for your preferred Deadlock Dynamo build.
