What's the Story?

Manchester City have been in red-hot form this season, unbeaten in 17 games, they sit at the top of the premier league with a 13 point gap, the most ever by a team at Christmas. Scoring goals hasn't been a problem for City at all, they have a goal difference of +48, the next best is +27 for Manchester United.

Things could have been a lot different for Manchester City though had they played David Faupala up front, who is statistically the worst striker in the game, according to statistics website, Futbin.

In case you didn't know...

Faupala has made 17 appearances for the French Youth team at the U16, U17 and U18 levels. He has scored 4 goals in total for the Youth team, all 4 coming from the time when he played for the U-16 side.

Heart of the Matter

Faupala announced on Instagram last month, that he has parted ways with Manchester City. EA Sports still hasn't updated the roster so he technically still plays for Manchester City.

According to the website. Faupala averages 0.08 goals and assists in the game, the worst amongst any striker. His card isn't the best either, he is rated 62 overall with a mere 47 passing and 59 dribbling.

What's Next?

Faupala is currently a free agent. His time at Manchester City wasn't the best either, he could just make a single appearance for the club, he appeared in the League Cup vs Chelsea. A poor record on FIFA, however, doesn't mean that he is a poor player on the field too. David is just 20-years-old and under a right coach if given opportunities can flourish.

Author's take...

Faupala's has a Bronze card and it is no surprise that it is amongst the worst cards in the game. For a mere 2,000 FUT coins, you can get players who are a lot better and it is up to Faupala to perform on the field if he wishes to have a higher rating in FIFA too.
