Turner 'Tfue' Tenney has won the Fortnite Champion Series Week 5 with his newly-formed team proving that he is still one of the best players in the scene. This is huge considering this is just the first tournament for them playing as a team. Earlier this month, Tfue left his long-time partners Cloakzy and 72hrs to form a new team. Apparently, there was a fallout within the group after Tfue claimed that he lost $140,000 due to them. Also Read - What PC does Tfue use 2020?According to Tfue, he turned down an offer from EA to stream Madden 20 because he wanted to devote his time to Fortnite. On the flip side, both Cloakzy and 72hrs accepted the offer from EA which left Tfue furious. Cloakzy and 72hrs claimed that Tfue never contacted them regarding the deal and if he did they would have let him accept it.Whatever the case may be, Tfue quickly formed a new team with Fiber and Khanada as his new partners. The team won the Week 5 event of Fortnite Championship Series defeating all the other teams which also included current solo world champion Kyle 'Bugha' Giersdorf and his team.Tfue and his team managed to score 131 points with 83 eliminations on Saturday while they scored 124 points with 64 eliminations on Sunday. This was enough to push them to the first position in the points table. Interestingly, Tfue and his team missed the first half-hour of the competition on Saturday as they only played 8 out of 9 games. However, this was not enough to stop them from becoming the eventual champions.LETSSSS FUCKING GOOOO!!! pic.twitter.com/fsem3w8odJ— Tfue (@TTfue) September 16, 2019Tfue has now become the first North American to win this tournament twice.
