Gary Cahill's time at Chelsea is up. The Englishman is set for a loan away before making a permanent move in the summer, when his contract expires at Stamford Bridge.

Cahill isn't someone who is used by players in FIFA 19, and it won't be an issue for anyone when EA give him a downgrade. The same can be said about the other two players – Victor Moses and Danny Drinkwater – but the downgrade of Cahill will be the one that Chelsea fans might talk most about.

Rated at 79 right now, Cahill might be pushed to 78 or 77 in February. Fulham, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are the teams linked with him, and unless he impresses at his new club for the rest of the season, EA might retain his new rating for his base card in FIFA 20 as well.
