What a season Matthijs de Ligt is having. In the 17 games played so far, Ajax have conceded just 8 goals and it is mostly down to this youngster. He has been rock solid at the back and it is no surprise that European giants are chasing him.
De Ligt has a rating of 80 in FIFA 19 but looking at his performances, EA are bound to push him to 83 at least. He does already have a card with that rating – a TOTW card that sells at around 28k on PS4.
Many fans are urging EA to make that his base card rating as well and looking at the interest in him and his potential, they might just agree and give him that upgrade in February. His base card right now goes for a mere 450 coins but if he gets that upgrade to 83, people might look to partner him alongside Van Dijk at the back.
