Genshin Impact Nod-Krai teaser showcases Alice, Varka, and Dottore

The Genshin Impact version 5.7 livestream was recently concluded on June 6, 2025. In this special program, the developers have teased a lot of fresh, upcoming content. Version 5.7 will be released with two new playable characters, Skirk and Dahlia.

At the end of the special program, a Nod-Krai teaser was showcased. It included the designs of some of the most hyped characters in Genshin Impact, such as Varka, Dottore, and Alice. Apart from them, a few areas and factions present in Nod-Krai were also shown.

New characters teased in the Genshin Impact Nod-Krai teaser

The developers have been teasing the Nod-Krai nation ever since version 5.1. In the v5.3 special program, they have also announced that it will be the upcoming region. They have been disclosing more information about this nation through various events.

Through the Song of the Welkin Moon web event, HoYoverse has shown the details of all factions in Nod-Krai. It was teased to players that Varka, some Hexenzirkel members, and the Fatui Harbingers would be present in this region.

Furthermore, the developers have also conducted a special program, "Let's Start With Nod-Krai," to reveal more details about this nation. During this live stream, it was indicated that the first character players will meet in Nod-Krai is Varka. Apart from that, they have also teased that we would meet other Fatui Harbingers.

Players speculated that HoYoverse would release a new Nod-Krai teaser at the end of the version 5.7 live stream. As expected, they showcased new details for the upcoming region. In the teaser, we see some visuals for some of the special areas and factions present in the region.

While these visuals were shown in the teaser, we can hear Nicole Reeyn talking about these factions. Furthermore, we can see the character designs of Dottore, Varka, and Alice. This could mean that these three characters could play a significant role in Nod-Krai's story. Moreover, we could get huge lore drops from these characters if we meet them.

Varka and Alice's design had been teased in the Paralogism Archon Quest, but we got a better look at both in this teaser. Dottore's complete design had already been revealed to players during the Sumeru Archon Quests. Now that HoYoverse has officially teased the design of Alice, Varka, and Dottore, fans are hoping that they will be playable during 6.x updates.
