With the arrival of the Genshin Impact 4.6 update, fans got another expansion of Fontaine. Players can now explore the Nostoi and Sea of Bygone Eras regions. Exploring these areas will allow you to collect tons of Primogems from treasure chests, puzzles, and more.
There are currently two Shrines of Depths in the new Genshin Impact 4.6 update. This article will guide you to their locations and teach you how to unlock them. It is advised that players unlock teleport waypoints for fast travel before looking for these Shrines of Depths.
Genshin Impact 4.6: All Shrine of Depths locations in Sea of Bygone Eras
It is worth noting that Sea of Bygone Eras can only be accessed once you have completed Canticles of Harmony World Quest. This is a new quest added in the version 4.6 update and takes place in Petrichor, Nostoi Region.
Shrine of Depths #1
The first Shrine of Depths can be found east of Initium Iani near Hortus Euergetis. Refer to the image above for its exact location in Genshin Impact. The fastest way to reach this place is by teleporting to the waypoint west of Initium Iani.
This fast-travel point is under the shed of an underwater coral. Swim to the top of this cliff coral, and you will find the first Shrine of Depths.
Shrine of Depths #2
This Shrine of Depths is also located in Genshin Impact's Sea of Bygone Eras region. It is in a very high place on Collegium Phonascorum, surrounded by several yellow ruined pillars. To reach this place, start from the southeast teleport waypoint in Alta Semita. Then, swim upward and toward the direction of the Shrine of Depths as shown in the image above.
Do note that you need to complete Second Movement - Prisoner In Shackles to get access to both of these Shrines of Depths in Genshin Impact.
How to unlock the Shrine of Depths in the Sea of Bygone Era
You can unlock the two Shrines of Depths in the Sea of Bygone Eras with Shrine of Depths keys, which can be obtained via two sources:
- Fontaine Statue of Seven
- Fountain of Lucine
Six keys can be obtained by leveling up the Statue of Seven with Hydroculous. These are located all across the Fontaine region and are marked with a small white star on the game mini-map when you are in their vicinity.
Upgrading the Statue of Seven also rewards Hydro Sigils. You can use these to upgrade the Fountain of Lucine and obtain four additional Shrine of Depths keys. Hydro Sigils can be collected by opening treasure chests inside the Fontaine region as well.
