Attaching a scope to your firearm can be a bit tricky as you cannot directly mount any sight you find. You will first need to obtain a scope mount by talking to Lens in Zalyssia.
But remember that you cannot attach all scopes to any weapons in the game. Check the description of the scope to see if it is compatible with your current firearms. For example, the Holographic Sight can be mounted on the Lullaby Fora-221, and the Open Collimator on most of the AK variants.
Once that is done, you will need to hold the attachment key (on PC, this is "T", while on Xbox it is the D-pad-Up key) and this will open a menu where you can attach the scope to weapons in Stalker 2. This will play a small animation where Skif will put your preferred gunsight on your weapon.
How to get scope attachments in Stalker 2
Most of the time, you can find scopes and other attachments for your guns from stashes or dead bodies. You can also buy them from a merchant called Hamster in Zalyssia.
