The servo-skull present in the area suggests overriding the controls from the Elevator Control Room to get the elevator operative again.
Proceed to the Elevator Control Room

Hold until the Bridge Extends
Your objective is to hold the area until the bridge extends, leading to the following section of the Machinus Divinitus Campaign Mission in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2. Eliminate all the Tyranids storming the place and stand your ground in the name of the Emperor. Slay all the xenos who dare stand against the Imperium.

The servo-skull at the control unit informs that the door is not functioning and an alternate path is required. Immediately after, you will be ambushed by more Xenos whom you must defeat before heading to the final stages of the Machinus Divinitus Campaign Mission in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2.
After clearing the horde, that door becomes operable. Head back to the now-open door and head inside to proceed further. Enter and head left to get to the next section of the mission.

Head towards the large, green machine at the center of the room. Immediately, a cutscene ensues where Titus locates Morias Leuze. But he also accesses classified files and comes to know that the Adeptus Mechanicus was dabbling with an artifact.
Before he can learn more, the Volkite reactor loses stability and the Machine Spirit is interrupted.
