You can get a House in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon in two ways:

  • By completing certain quests
  • By buying one with gold

Quest-related houses usually come free or at a small cost. The ones you buy directly can be very expensive, so you’ll need to either save up or wait until later in the game. Once unlocked, your house becomes a safe zone. You’ll be able to rest in bed to get bonus XP, use a stash for storage, and even make some basic customizations.

Firket's Home – Cuanacht

  • Quest: Playing With Fire
  • Price: Free
  • After completing the Playing With Fire quest, you’ll unlock this house.

The Mansion By The Beach – Horns Of The South

  • Quest: Farewell, Lady Alisa
  • Price: 500 Gold
  • This is tied to Alisa’s romance quest. After finishing it, you can unlock the house for just 500 gold. It’s one of the earliest homes you can get.

The Village Villa – Horns Of The South

  • Quest: None
  • Price: 20,000 Gold
  • This one’s for sale directly. It doesn’t require a quest, but the price is high for the early game.

Town Residence House – Cuanacht

  • Quest: None
  • Price: 50,000 Gold
  • This is a premium house in the center of Cuanacht. There’s no quest needed, but it costs a lot.

Dal Riata Homes – Forlorn Swords

  • Quests: Divided We Fall and The Long Defeat
  • Price: Free

Should you buy a house in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon early?

Aside from The Mansion By The Beach, most homes are better left until later. Early on, it’s better to use your gold for equipment, potions, and upgrades. Once you’re settled and have extra money, you can look into buying more permanent housing.
