How to get an RPG in Stalker 2 

Although Stalker 2 features many weapon choices, getting an RPG can remarkably improve your gameplay experience. With a rocket launcher in your hand, you can deal a very high amount of burst damage with just a single hit. However, you must progress a bit into the story to obtain an RPG and its ammunition.

The sole variant of RPG available in Stalker 2 is the RPG-7U. According to the lore, this launcher was initially discovered in military depots before eventually appearing in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone.

To acquire it, you must complete several early main missions and unlock the Wild Island region. Importantly, accessing a building is not necessary to locate an RPG-7U. Instead, proceed to the Stash situated directly north of the Shelter in the Wild Island region.

From there, leap over the barrels to ascend to the top, where you will find an RPG-7U lying in that area. Additionally, if you examine the barrels on the opposite side, another RPG-7U can be found. It is essential to note that both weapons are classified as broken and require repair for effective use.

You will encounter an RPG on several occasions during the late game; however, the Stash location within the Wild Island region remains the most easily accessible.

Given that both RPGs are broken, it is essential to repair them first, from a technician. The cost to restore a damaged RPG-7U amounts to 50,000 Coupons. Since you possess two identical weapons, you can repair one and subsequently sell it to traders for a substantial sum of Coupons.

To locate a technician, visit the base camps situated in different locations. Engage with the technician and select the "Upgrade" option to access a menu. Then, choose the RPG-7U and initiate the repair process using the necessary Coupons.

The weapon boasts an impressive range and decent accuracy. While the damage it inflicts is distributed over an area, it remains a practical option for eliminating multiple enemies clustered together in a single location.
