Charlie was particularly upset over their upcoming project titled Assassin's Creed Shadows. In his video, the streamer expressed his displeasure over the exorbitant pricing for the game.

"There is a lot of controversy around them, a ton of drama because of the main character here, or one of the main characters. I don't give a f**k about it... I don't care."

"What I do care about greatly is the pricing that Ubisoft is spearheading here. They just did this for Star Wars Outlaws with the $100 Plus version and now they are doing it again for Assassin's Creed Shadows and I'm so f**king tired of it."
What is the controversy involving Assassin's Creed Shadow's pricing? MoistCr1TiKaL gives his take on it

Twitch streamer MoistCr1TiKaL uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, expressing criticism towards Ubisoft regarding the pricing of its upcoming game, Assassin's Creed Shadows. For context, the game costs $70 for the Standard Edition and $130 for the Ultimate Edition.
One of the points highlighted by MoistCr1TiKaL was that the game offers an exclusive mission only to players who pre-order it, which he deemed excessive:
"You have to pre-order it if you want access to a pre-order exclusive mission. The mission is called 'Thrown to the Dogs,' and the only way you get access to this, it seems, is if you pre-order the game, which they haven't even shown any motherf**king gameplay for yet."
He added:
"You're pre-ordering based on a cinematic trailer alone. It's a terrible, shameful thing to ask of the consumer, but that's Ubisoft in a nutshell."
MoistCr1TiKaL expressed discontent with the inclusion of a season pass in the game, despite it being solely single-player. He said:
"It's especially egregious because the season pass for the Gold Edition includes a mission. So they are pay-walling even more content of the game behind the season pass."
The streamer also criticized one of the marketing claims, which stated that the Gold and Ultimate editions would grant players 3-day early access. He said:
"You're not paying to play it 3 days early, you are paying to play it on time. If you pay $70, you're playing the game 3 days late. So it's not early access."
Assassin's Creed Shadows is set to be released on November 12, 2024. It will be playable on PlayStation, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows.
