The ongoing battle to become the most subscribed YouTube channel between Jimmy "MrBeast" and T-Series appears to have taken a new turn. The YouTuber took to one of T-Series' X posts to claim that the page had "hidden" one of his earlier comments urging fans to subscribe to him instead of the Bollywood music label's YouTube channel.

The comment in question was made yesterday (April 22, 2024). T-Series posted a brief video of the late Gulshan Kumar, the founder of the label, with a quote of him stating how he wants India to be at the top of the international platform. The video then proceeds to urge fans to subscribe to their YouTube channel:

MrBeast, who saw the video, responded with:

"Naw, subscribe to me instead."

While Jimmy's response is still accessible (as in not deleted), the YouTuber claimed that the T-Series social media team "hid" his reply from the original post. He made a second comment, stating:

"Since you hid my other reply I’ll reply with it again. Naw, subscribe to me instead."

MrBeast vs. T-Series - who is winning the battle of subscribers?

In 2019, there was a significant change in subscriber dynamics within the YouTube community. Before then, individual creators like Felix "PewDiePie" dominated the scene. However, during that time, T-Series emerged and gradually became the most subscribed channel, now boasting 264 million subscribers.

Currently, it appears that another contest for the most subscribed channel is underway, with YouTube star MrBeast quickly closing in. As of now, Jimmy has amassed over 253 million subscribers, which means there is a gap of approximately 11 million between the two.

According to the 24/7 live video comparison provided by the popular YouTube channel "Subscriber Wars," T-Series is currently gaining subscribers at a daily rate of 283,000, while Jimmy is accumulating 168,000 subscribers per day.

It seems the competition is intensifying, with both YouTube channels putting in significant effort. Considering India's growing population, T-Series will likely maintain its position for some time. However, MrBeast boasts a larger international fan base, suggesting that the competition will remain close and fiercely contested.
