On May 21, 2023, Nordan "FaZe Rain" leaked that Stranger Things actress Grace Van Dien would be the next to join FaZe Clan's roster. It all started when the professional esports organization tweeted that they wished to sign more women:

FaZe Rain responded with a "spoiler," implying that the next person FaZe Clan would sign is Van Dien:

Earlier today, prominent internet personality Jake Lucky shared Nordan's tweet and said that the leak "felt wrong" since the latter was feuding with the organization, not the content creators.

The 26-year-old responded that his post was not meant as an "offense" to Grace Van Dien. He did, however, state that the signing was "entirely a political move."

"Of course, I posted on my IG (Instagram) story it’s not (an) offense to her, IDK (I don't know) her. This is entirely a political move though, by them to get sponsorships by having women. Not because it’s the right thing to do, haha. I also looked her up with FaZe. Her name has never been in conversation with FaZe on Twitter EVER before today."

"Poor Grace can’t catch a break…" - Twitter community reacts to FaZe Rain leaking Grace Van Dien's alleged signing with FaZe Clan

Nordan, a founding member of FaZe Clan, has recently been very vocal about the faults of the organization. The content creator had said in November 2022 that people might want to "kill him" for sharing a certain story and claimed that the Los Angeles-based agency had "sold out the brand."

Earlier this month, on May 3, 2023, FaZe Rain threatened to leave the organization unless they "publicly kicked" their co-founder and director of social media, Sebastian "CBass."

On May 21, FaZe Rain made headlines again when he leaked that Grace Van Dien, best known for her role as Chrissy Cunningham in Netflix's Stranger Things, would likely be the next to join FaZe Clan. The revelation, as expected, went viral on Twitter. User @mcgowannn commented:

"Poor Grace can't catch a break..."

According to esports personality @HUN2R, FaZe Rain is "playing with fire" if he had been under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) when he learned the information:

Responding to this, Nordan said:

Meanwhile, one community member suggested that the Canadian's decision to reveal the alleged FaZe Clan signing was a "weird move":

In addition to being an actor, Grace Van Dien is also a Twitch streamer. She has collaborated with popular internet stars like Rachell "Valkyrae" and Thomas "Sykkuno" to play multiplayer games such as Valorant, Fortnite, and Among Us.
