Controversial Kick streamer Jack Doherty's channel was taken down by the platform soon after clips of him seemingly doxxing fellow content creator Sam Bond began circulating. Jack confirmed that he had been banned in a post on X. However, he disputed the decision and claimed that he had not broken the terms of services.

In the post, he even tagged Ed Craven's (the founder of the platform) official account on X and stated that he needed to fix his website:

"I didn’t dox anyone on my stream, this is a false ban, fix ur platform @StakeEddie @KickStreaming"

At the time of writing, Doherty's page on the website is still down with the usual 404 error message.

Both Sam Bond and Jack Doherty's channels seem to have been taken down by Kick after doxxing controversy

The news was first reported on social media by people who connected the dots claiming that Jack Doherty's channel had been taken down because Sam Bond had been doxxed. For those who need context, clips of an incident that occurred on April 21 have garnered a lot of attention.

In it, a woman seemingly showcased Sam's contact number to the camera before the cameraman cuts away to follow Jack who had walked out of the room. Doxxing, or leaking the private information of any individual—be it a fellow content creator or a viewer—is a big no-no on streaming websites such as Kick or Twitch. As such, it would not be a huge leap to assume it was this incident that had the platform take his channel down.

Jack Doherty has not only protested about getting wrongfully banned by the platform, but he also called out Sam Bond in a subsequent post on X where he attached a screenshot that insinuated that Bond doxxed the woman named Aurora who was on Jack's stream first.

His post claimed that Sam should also get banned for leaking private information on his channel:

"Lmao lil bro Sam bond getting banned next"

Jack Doherty also trolled Sam, claiming he was irrelevant:

"I just realized Sam bond has 5k followers. Who even is this guy? I just know him cause he got slapped by a sam frank"

It appears that Bond's channel is currently not available as Kick has taken it down. However, it has not been confirmed whether he was banned or suspended for the same reason.
