With a first-person view and encountering close encounters in the entire game revives the horror elements and perfectly defines how Resident Evil games should be. So, if you are a horror game lover and wanted to play the best horror game on your PlayStation 4 device then try out 2017's masterpiece Biohazard 7.

2) Outlast 2
Outlast 2 is the successor of Outlast 1 which was highly liked by the gamers. Outlast 2 is the best survival horror game I have ever played. The settings in the game, how the game is played makes you feel how helpless a person is to ensure his/her survival in paranormal situations.
With just a camera in hand and with a limited amount of battery usage, you are always reminded that if you don't take your survival in the game seriously then you can say goodbye and proceed no further in the game. There were situations were I overused the night mode of my camera which resulted in draining the entire battery and which led to a very difficult playthrough because it was too dark to see anything, plus there was always a threat of encountering enemies. I would highly recommend outlast 2 if you are a true fan of survival horror games.

3) Everybody's Gone to Rapture
Everybody's gone to rapture is a first-person adventure art game developed by Chinese Room and SCE Santa Monica studios. If you liked the vanishing of Ethan carter then you should definitely give this game a try.
Plot:-
The game is set in 1984, in a fictional deserted village named Yaughton in Shropshire, England. The player's only objective is to explore and try to discover how and why everyone has disappeared. Mysterious floating orbs of light swim around the air and lead the player to scenes made up of other human-shaped lights, which re-enact various previously occurring events throughout the game. Following the orbs' evidence from scene-to-scene across the valley, as well as finding telephones and radios that replay conversations, recordings, and broadcasts from throughout the story, eventually provide all of the puzzle pieces to the game's main event (the 'rapture'.)

4) Evil Within 2
The Evil Within 2 is the continuation of Evil Within's 1 story. In this part, Sebastian has to face the horrors once again in order to save his daughter who was long believed dead. Evil Within was a great game developed by Resident Evil 4 creator Shinji Mikami, and the same can be said for the evil within 2. If you loved the first part then you should definitely play this one too and if you haven't then you all should try both of these game.
Plot:-
Three years after the events of the first game, Sebastian Castellanos has left the Krimson City Police Department, haunted by his experiences at the Beacon Mental Hospital. His only child, Lily supposedly perishes in their house fire, and his wife Myra, unwilling to accept her daughter's death, abandons him. This results in Sebastian descending himself into alcoholism. Drowning his sorrows in a bar, Sebastian is approached by former partner and MOBIUS agent Juli Kidman, who reveals to him that Lily is still alive. Sebastian is brought to a secret MOBIUS facility, against his will, where he meets the head of the facility named the Administrator, who further explains that Lily is being used as the Core for a new STEM system to simulate an idyllic American town called Union. However, a week before the events of the game, MOBIUS lost contact with Lily and their agents inside Union, and they have lost control over the simulation. Sebastian reluctantly agrees to help and is plugged into STEM.

5) Until Dawn
Have you all ever imagined what happens when you combine some of your favourite horror Hollywood movies? Well Until Dawn can be one the results produced. The game forces you to take decisions that impact future relation and survival of a character.

Set in Western Canada, Until Dawn centres around a group of eight teenagers who decide to have a holiday for a night in a cabin on the fictional Blackwood Mountain, exactly one year after the disappearance of two girls, the twin sisters of a member of their group. Shortly after arriving, the gang find themselves under attack by a madman and must attempt to survive until sunrise. Throughout the adventure, players alternate between all eight characters, making critical decisions as the story advances which drastically affects the game's outcome, leading to hundreds of different scenarios.
