The Pallid Lodestone is exclusive to the Forgotten Kingdom DLC, and you will have to defeat the Stonewarden boss to get your hands on it. It might sound like defeating a boss for a simple upgrade material is a bit much, but the Pallid Lodestone is well worth it. You can use it to craft the Abrasive Rounds weapon mod by visiting McCabe in Ward 13.

Abrasive Rounds imbues your bullets with bleed and increases your lifesteal by 5% over the next 20 seconds. Damaging opponents will also make them bleed, dealing a total of 200 damage while the effect is active. However, before you can enjoy this mod, you will have to defeat the Stonewarden. Let's look at some tips to make the fight easier.

Much like most enemies in the new expansion, the Stonewarden boss is very resistant to melee attacks; ranged attacks don't do a ton of damage either, but you can make them work. Here are some tips to help you defeat the Stonewarden boss in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC:

  • More often than not, Stonewarden will begin the fight with a slam attack, which is followed by a spear combo. So, it is best to stay on the defensive during the beginning of the fight.
  • Most attacks by the Stonewarden can be dodged. But pay extra attention to how you're timing your dodges, since spamming the dodge button is a good way to get killed.
  • Now you can dodge his attacks and continue to whittle down his health. Aiming for the Stonewarden's weak spots with any decent weapon should be able to get the job done.
  • Once his health reaches 50%, the second phase of the fight will begin. Now, the Stonewarden will start to throw stone statues at you. These are dangerous and deal a lot of damage, so dodge with precision and pray for the best.
  • The Stonewarden will occasionally launch himself into the air; this provides an excellent window to deal some damage. Use his time in the air to aim for his weak spots. Using elemental attacks will help you deal maximum damage.
  • Once the second phase begins, make haste and finish the fight as quickly as possible because your chances of success will decrease the longer the fight goes on.
