What are the 5 best builds in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC?

1) Best Support build

  • Archetype: Medic
  • Secondary Archetype: Handler
  • Amulet: Nimue's Ribbon
  • Rings: Ring of the Forest Spirit, Dead King's Memento, Seal of the Empress, and Burden of the Divine.
  • Traits: Vigor, Glutton, Barkskin, and Fortify
  • Relic: Resonating Heart

The Support build is fit for those who want to help set up their teammates for success. This setup will allow you to run through Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC without worrying about healing.

This build runs on the Medic Archetype's prime perk, which gives you a free relic every time you heal 250 HP. Nimue's Ribbon and Ring of the Forest Spirit will boost the effectiveness of your Relic, while Seal of the Empress will buff your HP. Lastly, the Burden of the Divine ring will help your teammates tank more damage.

The most significant part of this setup is the Resonating Heart Relic, which doubles any overheal and then uses it to regenerate your health over the next 20 seconds.

The items you equip will boost this healing effect and make you pretty much invulnerable to enemies who can't one-shot you. You should equip the Redemption Skill for co-op, as it will allow your teammates to not worry about healing themselves.

2) Infinite Health build

  • Archetype: Hunter
  • Secondary Archetype: Gunslinger
  • Amulet: Use anything that buffs damage
  • Rings: Ring of Crisis, Dread Font, use damage buffing Rings for the rest
  • Traits: Bloodstream, Footwork, Swiftness, Handling, and Expertise
  • Relic: Reprocessed Heart

Using the Infinite Health build will allow you to enjoy up to four minutes of invulnerability. That is four minutes in which you are free to run wild and kill anything in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.

This build makes full use of the Ring of Crisis, which grants a shield when you drop below 25% health. It also has the Reprocessed Heart Relic, the Dread Font Ring, and the Bloodstream trait.

Once you reach 25% health, you can use the Relic to damage yourself for 5 health. Now, the Bloodstream trait and the Dread Font ring will combine to heal you for 5 health. Due to the effects of these items, your health will constantly hover around 25%. This loop of increasing and decreasing health creates an infinite shield loop, making you invulnerable.

If you're planning on using this build, you need to capitalize on the time when your shield is active. You will get around four minutes of protection; make full use of them to put an end to your enemies.

3) High DPS build

  • Archetype: Hunter
  • Secondary Archetype: Gunslinger
  • Amulet: Abrasive Whetstone
  • Rings: Zania's Malice, Probability Chord, Ring of Flawed Beauty, and Ring of Diversion
  • Traits: Bloodstream, Footwork, Swiftness, Handling, and Expertise
  • Relic: Enlarged Heart

The High DPS build, or HUGS build, is arguably the meta in Remnant 2 and will likely be just as strong in The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.

The Primer Perk for the Hunter archetype is important for this build. It extends the duration of your skills every time you deal 55 Base Ranged Weakspot Damage to an enemy.

Pairing this with the Hunter's Mark and Bulletstorm will allow you to get a massive damage boost. Moreover, you can make use of the Zania's Malice and Probability Chord rings to further boost your damage and critical hit chances. The Abrasive Whetstone Amulet can be used to further buff your damage output.

When all of these are used together, you will get a massive damage boost. You can use any ranged weapon of your choice to make full use of this advantage. Make sure you pick a weapon that allows you to get consistent critical hits.

4) Burst Damage build

  • Archetype: Hunter
  • Secondary Archetype: Gunslinger
  • Amulet: Abrasive Whetstone
  • Rings: Provisioner Ring, Probability Chord, Zania's Malice, and Gunslinger's Ring
  • Traits: Untouchable, Footwork, Swiftness, Handling, and Expertise
  • Relic: Enlarged Heart

The Burst Damage build is capable of dealing up to 10K damage with each burst, so you can breeze through most threats in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC.

This setup works off the combination of two things: the Provisioner Ring and the Sidewinder skill. The Provisioner Ring will reload your weapon every time you swap it, and the Sidewinder skill will increase your swap speed by 50%, allowing you to consistently swap your weapons and continue shooting.

This build works when you constantly switch between your guns and fire at your enemy's weak spot one shot at a time. The Sporebloom and Sureshot are excellent weapons for this setupdue to their high damage per shot.

The combination of the Zania's Malice and Probability Chord rings will boost damage, while Gunslinger's Ring will increase swap speed. If you hit your shots and continue bursting, you will see your damage numbers rise up to almost 10K at times.

5) Allrounder build

  • Archetype: Alchemist
  • Secondary Archetype: Hunter
  • Amulet: Nightweaver's Grudge
  • Rings: Atonement Fold, Hardcore Metal Band, Zania's Malice, and Probability Chord
  • Traits: Untouchable, Footwork, Swiftness, Handling, and Expertise
  • Relic: Tranquil Heart

The Allrounder build will allow you to go toe to toe with almost any boss in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. It will allow you to reduce damage taken by 75% while still giving you enough firepower to boast a DPS of 4K. The nightfall is one of the best weapons in Remnant 2 and is an excellent pick for this setup.

This build begins with the Atonement Fold ring, which will inflict bleed damage to foes and buff your critical hit chance. The damage dealt by the ring will activate the Hardcore Metal Band, giving you five stacks of Bulwark, which will reduce damage received by 25%. Moreover, Nightweaver's Grudge will also get activated, further buffing your critical chances while also giving you Haste.

You can equip the Probability Chord along with Zenia's Malice to further boost your damage. Since we're using the Alchemist Archetype, you can also use concoctions for additional buffs and boosts.
