During the "Let's Start With Nod-Krai" special program, HoYoverse confirmed that the Genshin Impact 6.0 update will see the new Nod-Krai region coming to the game. The developers also teased that players will meet some highly anticipated characters from the Knights of Favonius and the Fatui Harbingers in the update.

Various leakers, including Shiroha, DK2, and HxG, have disclosed information regarding the playability of certain characters that will be part of the title with the Nod-Krai updates. Recently, HxG shared details of a rumored new playable male character speculated to be released in version 6.0.

HoYoverse has been teasing information regarding the upcoming Nod-Krai region through various Event Quests and Web Events. In the Song of the Welkin Web Event, they teased multiple factions present in this region. Some of them include the most hyped groups in the game, such as Fatui Harbingers, Knights of Favonius, and Hexenzirkel.

So far, the developers have shared information regarding 11 factions present in the Nod-Krai region. Players are speculating that we could get a playable character from each faction. Furthermore, HoYoverse has also revealed that the first character the Travelers would meet in Nod-Krai would be Varka.

During the version 5.7 special program, the developers released a new teaser for the upcoming region. In this teaser, fans spotted the partial designs of multiple characters like Alice, Varka, and Dottore.

On top of this, leakers such as HxG and Shiroha have shared details regarding many playable characters the title will see during the Nod-Krai updates. The former has claimed that a new tall Male 5-star character will be released in version 6.0. According to the leaker, this rumored unit is not Dottore or Varka.

HxG claimed that the upcoming character will be an Electro unit belonging to the Lightkeepers faction. However, the leaker did not release other details such as the unit's role or weapon type.

Fans have been asking for a new male 5-star character for some time now, and based on these leaks, it seems that we might finally get one in version 6.0. The last such character was Kinich, who was released on September 17, 2024, with version 5.0. On the other hand, version 6.0 is speculated to be released on September 10, 2025, based on previous trends.
