Squad Busters August 2024 update announced the removal of Keys, Rerolls, and more

In the video, the developer announces the removal of several features that were available in the game.

Per the official statement in the video, Battle Bags, which used to let you use your battle items, will no longer be available after the arrival of the update.

Furthermore, the developer has listened to the community and bid adieu to Keys and Rerolls. Although regular keys will still appear in matches, they will not show up in the Shop or the reward section once the update goes live. While Rerolls are being removed, the developer has announced the launch of free refresh options, which will be available for players three times every match.

The official video has also revealed that Megas will be removed from the game. However, players who have saved up these units will get corresponding skins for free after the launch of the update. The developer has mentioned that they will give some additional compensation for the number of Keys, Mega units, and Rerolls they already own.

Since the Megas will disappear after this update, the Mega Start mod will be removed, along with the Baby Battles mod.

The developers have also announced that they have decided to keep the Lucky Finds in battles. They will give a new fused character to the player. The video states that while the Chest Doublers will remain available in the game, they will not be a time-limited feature after this update.

Many Beta players were missing the Style Tickets in the game. Good news for them as the official Squad Busters August 2024 update video states that these tickets are now returning. They will be available in different reward tracks and events and should help you get certain emotes and skins from the shop.

Supercell has also announced the introduction of the Action Emotes in the game, performing different actions whenever you need. They are also adding a speech bubble beside the Turbo button for players who want to use the emotes manually.

The official Squad Busters August 2024 update video has also announced the arrival of mini P.E.K.K.A in your plaza. You should start collecting Pancakes, as this unit will appear in the plaza as soon as the Squad Busters August 2024 update drops. Our guess is, that this will be an event like the Pinata Festival, where you can get chests for collecting a certain number of Pancakes.

Archer, Miner, and Leon will make their debut as the new Squad Busters characters. As seen in the video, the Lava World has plenty of familiar monsters. A new burning scenery called the Volcano Gem Mine will also be introduced after the launch of this update, as mentioned in the video. The new world is also bringing new Mods called the Crystal Forest, Timeout, and Hatchling Herder.

In Crystal Forest Mod, players will begin with a massive hero (Greg) and will join in a race to chop 100 Magic Trees before others. In Timeout, every player will begin with 200 Gems. However, if you fail to collect enough to make it to the end before time runs out, your squad will automatically be busted.

Finally, in the Hatchling Herder Mod, you must capture and protect hatchlings that follow you throughout the game.

Each of the Mods will appear alternately during the Lava World event. Also note that once the event ends, the new Lava World map will be placed at the end of the Squad Journey. So players in the Squad League will automatically start in the Lava World after this update.

The official video claimed that the World Event is going to be easier to complete this time. Therefore, you must not miss your chance to unlock the new heroes arriving in this Squad Busters August 2024 update.

Since the Megas will disappear after the upcoming update, so will the Mega Bank. This will be replaced with the Pinata Bank. The Pinata Bank will give different rewards for the Gems you collect after the Squad Busters August 2024 update release.

The upcoming Squad Busters season is called the Bullets and Burgers season, as mentioned in the official Squad Busters August 2024 update video. It will begin as soon as the current season ends and will last for two weeks. This means that the rewards in the next season will be easier to achieve.
