What are the Stellar Blade endings? (Image via Shift Up)

There are a total of three Stellar Blade endings, each possessing wildly different outcomes and implications. The endings are accessible once you beat Raven and enter the Nest of the Naytibas, where you will be presented with a choice. Based on the outcome of this choice, you will enter into one of two boss battles, of which three endings can branch out.

A breakdown of all these three endings will be provided below, detailing on how to trigger them.

Note: Heavy spoilers for Stellar Blade will follow.

All Stellar Blade endings explained

After confronting Adam at the Nest of the Naytibas, you will be presented with a choice - to take Adam’s hand and fuse with the Elder Naytiba in the process - or refuse and fight him. While choosing to kill Adam results in the bad ending, fusing with Adam can result in a total of two endings - which will vary depending on your in-game progress.

All three endings can be found discussed below:

Ending A: Return to the Colony

This is the bad ending and takes place after you refuse to fuse with Adam. Following a spectacular boss battle against the Elder Naytiba, EVE stabs Adam through the heart, killing him in the process.

The Naytiba Nest will subsequently disintegrate, and Mother Sphere will make her debut. After congratulating both EVE and Lily on their mission, they will be transported into outer space. Following a brief trip, Lily will remark on wanting to see the Earth from space. However, what awaits them is a strikingly similar Earth-like planet covered in concentric mechanical rings.

Ending B: Cost of Lost Memories

This ending takes place if you choose to fuse with Adam. Immediately afterward, Lily will lose control of the Exosuit, and a boss battle will begin. After defeating Providence, a cutscene will follow in which Lily dies at the end. EVE is then greeted by Mother Sphere, who is rather disappointed at the outcome.

After confronting the AI, EVE is set to battle against an endless army of Andro-Eidos soldiers as the screen fades to black.

This Stellar Blade ending is triggered if you do not complete Lily’s mission progress by the end of the game. This has you grabbing all collectibles and traveling to Eidos 9, an otherwise secret level.

Ending C: Making New Memories

The final and true Stellar Blade ending, Making New Memories, proceeds in the same way as the Cost of Lost Memories ending, but with significant changes to the story at the end. After fusing with Adam and defeating Providence, Lily will manage to break herself free from the berserk Exosuit, which will then set its sights on EVE.

Defeating the Exosuit once again will trigger a similar cutscene with Mother Sphere, who will then unleash an army of Andro-Edios against both EVE and Lily.

After a long battle, EVE and Lily return victorious to the Colony where they insert the last Hyper Cell to restore Xion back to its previous state. This ending requires you to complete all of Lily’s missions.

As the people of Xion celebrate, the screen fades to black.

All three Stellar Blade endings hint that EVE’s story is far from over, which may be an indicator for future DLC expansions. Developer Shift Up is yet to confirm which is the canonical ending of the game. Check out our other Stellar Blade guides in the meantime:
