Top footballers who have reached out to EA Sports on Twitter regarding their FIFA 17 ratings

Even the footballers eagerly it the release of the game

Being featured in EA Sports’ flagship football-based simulation game is the dream of practically all amateur footballers. Top professionals, though, are not completely satisfied by just their inclusion in the game. They want their faces to look life-like, their hair to be perfect and, most importantly, their ratings to be top notch.

Consequently, when the ratings in the latest instalment are revealed, there is a certain level of interest amongst the players themselves. After all, they are also fans of the video game series. And, like every fan, they also have the right to criticise the bizarre ratings that EA so often gives the player.

In fact, many of them have taken to Twitter to vent their ire at having earned lesser ratings. Some of the tweets are given below:

German World Cup winner Mats Hummels replied to a fan’s question of what he would like for his birthday by tweeting this:

Clearly, he was unhappy with his below par pace rating in the game.

Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, who has been in blazing form this season, was unfortunate to miss out on a winter upgrade despite inspiring performances. He took a dig at EA Sports and went as far as to say that maybe Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer (EA Sports’ number one competitor) would give him an upgrade.

Anthony Martial, who became the costliest teenager in the world last year, was awarded a FIFA Ultimate Team: Team of the Week card with upgraded ratings. However, even the upgraded ratings were not enough to make him happy.

Chelsea youngster Michy Batshuayi was visibly surprised to find his pass rating at 59.

Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand is present in the legends section of the game. But his ratings had him so irked that he threatened to go down to EA Sports’ office and burn it down!
