When does Silent Hill 2 Remake early access start?

The Silent Hill 2 Remake early access is set to go live on October 6, 2024, for those who own the game's Deluxe Edition. After 23 years since its original PlayStation 2 debut, Konami's classic survival horror is finally making a return on October 8, 2024, with a two-day early access period for Silent Hill 2 remake Deluxe Edition owners.

How to preload Silent Hill 2 Remake

Here's how you will be able to preload the game on your respective platforms. Do note that the title is only available on PlayStation 5 and PC.

Preload on PlayStation 5

• Head to your library after you have pre-purchased Silent Hill 2
• Select the game.
• Click on the Download button which will start downloading the game files.

Preload on Steam

• Head to your library and search for Silent Hill 2.
• Click on the game and then on the Install option.
• Select the disk on which you want to install the files. Click on Install, and then agree to the Terms and Conditions.
• This will initiate the download.

The preload has already been made available for Deluxe Edition owners since October 4, 2024, and this option will open up on October 6 for those who own the standard edition.

Unfortunately, Silent Hill 2 Remake is not on the Xbox platform yet, so you will need to own either a PlayStation or PC to play the game.
