#1 Michael Schumacher - 4 Wins

German F1 Grand Prix
Schumacher picked up four wins at the Hockenheimring

Michael Schumacher's first win at the Hockenheimring came in 1995. Driving the Benetton Renault, the German finished the qualifying in the second place, less than one-tenth of a second behind Damon Hill. With a great race pace, he picked up his 15th Grand Prix win. Schumacher won nine races that season and retained his world championship.

His other three wins came with Scuderia Ferrari from 2002 to 2006 in the redesigned track. The German's 2002 win saw him start the race in pole position as well. Moreover, Schumacher had finished on the podium in every race that season and accumulated his fifth world championship.

Schumacher's German Grand Prix win was the 81st win of his career. More scintillating performances by the German that season led him to his seventh world championship.

Michael Schumacher's fourth win came two years later in 2006. Driving the Ferrari, he started the race in the second sport behind Kimi Raikkonen. Strong shows by the German and Massa ensured a Ferrari one-two.

Schumacher announced his retirement that year after finishing second in the championships. He would later return to Formula 1 in 2010 and retired for the second time in 2012 after failing to recapitulate his form with the Silver Arrows.
