The Mercedes Benz SL is a grand category of touring cars manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The first SL designated car was 300 SL. The SL designation was derived by German, however, it was originally given by an American importer, Max Hoffman. The SL65 is the modified fifth generation of SL Mercedes range which contains 6.2 L V6 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission putting out 518hp.
