#4 Ayrton Senna's splendid victory- Suzuka 1988

In Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, 1988, Alain Prost led the grid from Berger and Ivan Capelli and Senna were left back at 14th place. He said later "‘I am going to have to drive as hard as I can, but it will be impossible to catch Alain." However Brazilian moved up 6 places by lap 2 and then overtook Riccardo Patrese, Thierry Boutsen, Alessandro Nannini to take 4th place on lap 4.

In 14th lap, the weather changed and it started raining heaving favoring Senna who was expert in wet conditions. Prost was not to be taken lightly as he already had 3 World Championship titles by then but in lap 27, Senna drove his way ahead of him, broke the track record and maintained a lead of more than 3 seconds. It was his 8th win and one of the remarkable victory by a margin of more than 13 seconds.
