Force India F1 Team have not revealed their second driver yet and according to reports, the fight for the second seat alongside Paul Di Resta is between former Force India driver, Adrian Sutil and Ferrari Academy driver, Jules Bianchi.

There have been rumours of Force India switching to Ferrari engines in 2014, with Ferrari reportedly trying to get their academy driver a seat for 2013 season as a part of the upcoming deal.

“Jules is part of our Driver Academy, and we are trying to find a solution for him,” explained Domenicali.

“Last year he was the third driver of Force India, and we are trying to find a solution so he can grow and show his worth. But I have no further information.”

Heikki Kovalainen and Bruno Senna are the other contenders who are in fight for the Force India seat.

Caterham are the only other team apart from Force India who have not confirmed their driver line-up for 2013 season. In a recent interview, Caterham’s Mike Gascoyne snubbed Kovalainen for not showing respect to Caterham team and so it looks like the Finn is out of running for the Caterham seat.

It is believed that Caterham is weighing their options on Giedo Van De Garde, Bruno Senna and Vitaly Petrov for the second seat alongside young Frenchman, Charles Pic.
