The strongest man-in-charge, in terms of leading the most powerful team, Mercedes, you take things seriously when they are coming from a certain Toto Wolff, the team principal of Mercedes AMG F1 racing.

Together with Lewis Hamilton, Toto Wolff has commanded the Brackley-based outfit with supreme authority and success. Over the course of the past few years, the British team has risen to the top echelons of F1 and has only recently won the 2018 season.

Ever a man in the news, Toto has offered some piece of his mind on one of the rising stars of Formula 1 racers, George Russell.

According to Toto Wolff, George Russell can become a star in the sport.

Russell, who only recently had a long and cordial meeting with the Mercedes team principal seems to have impressed the experienced Austrian, under whose tutelage, Lewis Hamilton bagged a fifth driver's title.

The Mercedes team boss also shared some candid observations on George Russell, who's all set to debut in F1 with Williams F1 racing, alongside Robert Kubica.

He shared, "He has the brain, he has the empathy, the social skills and the driving."

Interestingly, there's some reason why most are praising George Russell, who'll be all set to make his first impressions come the season-opener at Melbourne, Australian Grand Prix.

On his way to clinching the F2 championship, Rusell claimed 11 podium finishes. Of these, seven would be scintillating victories. This would be a fine achievement that made his previous achievement, the GP3 crown, no flash in the pan.

Could one see Russell race in any among the top teams that are familiar frontrunners in the contest, immediately after having made his Williams debut?

As it is, it no longer seems a figment of paddock rumour that Valtteri Bottas is already under pressure to retain his Mercedes seat? Time for Russell, Totto?
