Lotus driver Kimi Raikkonen has not ruled out about skipping the upcoming Korean Grand Prix and has fueled the rumors of him skipping the race.

Raikkonen was suffering from back pain throughout the Singapore Grand Prix which forced to almost sit out of qualifying. The Finn had his relationship strained with Lotus after he revealed that he is leaving for Ferrari.

Raikkonen said that he is free to sit out the rest of the season due to Lotus’ contractual breach and also said that he is racing only because he like to.

“I like to race, obviously that’s the only reason why I’m here,” he said.

Meanwhile Lotus team owner Gerard Lopez criticized the driver’s decision to join Ferrari.

“I like Kimi as a driver he’s brilliant, but if he’s really only going to Ferrari for the pasta, I think it’s Ferrari who need to be asked the questions, not us,” he said.
