According to Sky Sports, Formula One teams McLaren and Force India have pulled out from Pirelli’s Bahrain tyre test due to the tight time frames.

The teams were among the six who agreed to take part in the tyre test for Pirelli to aid the company’s developmental work for next season.

“We are not testing in Bahrain next week,” a McLaren spokesman told Sky Sports.

Meanwhile Force India said that the team won’t be having enough time to move the cars and equipment to Bahrain for the testing.

“Given the short notice of this test taking place and the timeframes involved, the team will not be attending the test,” Force India’s spokesman said.

The tyre testing is mainly conducted by Pirelli in order to become more familiar with the new regulations in 2014. And though McLaren and Force India pulled out, Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari and Toro Rosso are still scheduled to attend the session.
