Meanwhile, on the professional front, Charles Leclerc is having a turbulent season with Ferrari. Despite two P3 and one P2 finish in his first nine races, the Monegasque driver is unappy with the state of 2025 season challenger, SF25.

In an interview with Motorsportweek, the 27-year-old stated that without any significant upgrades, Ferrari is not in a position to contest for podiums consistently. While Leclerc has two podiums, his teammate Lewis Hamilton is yet to get on the podium in Grand Prix races this season.

Ferrari are yet to win a single Grand Prix race in the 2025 season. Both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are unhappy with the state of their car, SF-25, complaining of pace deficit and instability.

Meanwhile, Leclerc has stated that his future in the ongoing season is uncertain. While Ferrari has some upgrades in the pipleline, he is wary of competition from the likes of McLaren.

Talking to Racingnews 365, Leclerc said:

"I don't want to be thinking so long term, just because I have no visibility. I know what is going to come for us in terms of small adjustments and improvements on the car, but I don't know what is coming for other teams, so it is very difficult to predict or expect anything.

"On paper, it is going to be a tough one to go and beat McLaren in a year like this, where they've been dominant for the first part of the season. But I will give everything until the end. Hopefully, with new parts, as soon as possible, we can take the lead in terms of performance on track, and then we can hope for better, but we cannot afford to lose too many races."

Despite a turbulent season, Ferrari climbed to P2 in the Constructors' championship standings with 165 points in nine races.
