Daniel Ricciardo and Visa Cash App RB (Red Bull Racing's sister team) have parted ways after the Singapore Grand Prix. As he steps away from Formula 1, a McLaren content team member posted a heartfelt story for the Perth-born racer on social media.Ricciardo joined Red Bull Racing as a test driver in 2009. He was contracted to HRT F1 by the Austrian squad as a replacement for Indian racer Narain Karthikeyan in the 2011 season. Ricciardo spent two years with Scuderia Toro Rosso before making his big debut for the Milton-Keyes-based team in 2014.After the arrival of Max Verstappen at Red Bull, Ricciardo decided to shift to Renault and later to McLaren for better prospects. However, with the British team replacing the 'Honey Badger' with Oscar Piastri at the end of 2022, he returned to Red Bull as a reserve driver for the upcoming season.Ricciardo joined AlphaTauri (VCARB) as a replacement for Nyck de Vries in mid-2023.
