Charles Leclerc was heartbroken at the 2023 F1 Brazilian GP as he had to retire from the race even before it began. During the formation lap, the Monagasque lost the hydraulics of the car and gradually went off track before bumping into the barriers. This end to his race weekend was shattering for the Ferrari driver.

After the problem arose, he immediately came on the radio to inform the team and also express his raw emotions during that time.

"No! I lost the hydraulics. I lost the hydraulics! Why the f*ck am I so unlucky...why the f*ck am I so unlucky!" Leclerc said.

Since one of the sorrowful highlights of the race was Leclerc's DNF from the race, the gutting radio from him went viral on social media as thousands of fans reacted to it.

They sympathized with the Ferrari driver and left consoling messages. Some even said that they want 2023 to end and never see the SF-23 again, while others stated how this can completely break Charles Leclerc.

Here are some of the reactions from the fans:

Charles Leclerc scored no points in the main race and is seventh in the drivers' championship. If his bad luck or performance continues, there are chances that George Russell from eighth could overtake him.

Charles Leclerc on small performance window of Ferrari SF-23

After the 2023 F1 Mexican GP, Charles Leclerc went deep into how the Ferrari SF-23 has a small window where it operates brilliantly but quickly starts losing time otherwise.

However, he assured everyone that there are no major fixes for widening the operating window, at least as of now. When Sportskeeda asked about the pace on the hard tire declining due to Red Flag, the Monagasque replied:

"No, I think it still confirms the weaknesses of our car, where it's a very peaky car. And whenever we get out of the optimal window of the car, we are losing too much time."
"But we'll look into it, again, on the Hard to try and understand what went wrong there, in order to improve that in the future. But I think short term, there's no big fixes. I think every time we are, as I said, a bit out of the optimal window, we lose too much time."

Leclerc had a decent race at Mexico as he finished third behind Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
