Paulo Dybala's signing is probably one of the best Juventus have made in the history of the club. There were plenty of clubs after the Palermo youngster in 2015 but Juventus were quick to sign him for a reported fee of around €40 million.

Since then, Dybala has been an integral part of Juve's setup. Dybala can play a wider role and can also operate as a number 10. His versatility makes him a great asset for the Italian side as he provides a constant goal threat for the opposition.

Dybala has played more than 250 games for the club so far and has scored 104 goals in the process while winning several major titles, including five Serie A championships.

The Argentine signing has formed a formidable partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo upfront since the latter's arrival in 2018. Though he did have a disappointing 2020/21 season, Dybala will be hoping that Massimiliano Allegri's arrival can help him get back to his best.

#3 Paul Pogba

Another one of the excellent free signings made by Juventus, it was in Turin that Paul Pogba became the player that he is today. Despite his potential, the midfielder wasn't able to nail down a regular starting spot at Manchester United and decided to leave on a free transfer to Juventus in 2012.

It did not take long for the Frenchman to showcase his abilities at Juventus, helping them win the Scudetto in his debut campaign before winning the Golden Boy award in 2013.

He formed a brilliant partnership with Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo in midfield and established himself as one of the most talented midfielders in Europe, helping Juventus to unparalleled success in Italy.

His impact in Turin was such that Gianluigi Buffon compared him to legends like Michael Platini and Zinedine Zidane. During his four years in Italy, the French signing made 183 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals and setting up 40 more. He returned to Manchester United in 2016 but has not been able to hit the same heights since then.

The internet went wild when Juventus announced the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a fee of €100 million in 2018. He is still widely regarded as one of the best to play the game and was going strong as a 33-year-old when signing for Juventus.

Ronaldo played a key part in Juventus' 2018-19 title-winning season and became the first player to win league titles in England, Spain and Italy. His display in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid, when he pulled Juventus from the jaws of defeat to send them to the quarter-finals, will long be cherished by the Bianconeri fans.

The €100 million signing has continued to break records in Turin and has scored 104 goals in 137 matches for Juventus till date. Ronaldo's signing not only helped Juventus on the field, but also helped them increase their social media following, their fan-following across the globe and also increased the financial windfall arriving due to sponsorships and merchandise sales enabling them to make more high profile signings.

Juventus did pay the highest transfer fee for a single player by any Italian club to sign Ronaldo in an attempt to win the Champions League, but they have not been able to achieve that target so far. However, the club will be hoping that the return of Massimiliano Allegri will help Ronaldo & Co. to fight for the Champions League next season.

One of the best free signings in the history of the game, Juventus snapped up Andrea Pirlo immediately following the expiry of his contract at AC Milan in 2011. What a signing it proved to be for the Bianconeri.

Pirlo's impact was such that he absolutely dominated midfield for Juventus and led them to an undefeated season in Serie A. He even capped off the season by spurring Italy into the final of Euro 2012.

The midfielder, despite being in his thirties, was still at the top of his game, dictating the tempo from the deep-lying role, allowing the likes of Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal to venture forward. He also scored some spectacular goals along the way.

Pirlo went on to make 164 appearances for Juventus, scoring 22 goals and assisting a further 38 before moving on to MLS in 2015. During his time in Turin, the midfielder was a fan favorite and earned himself the nickname Il Professore (the professor).

Pirlo returned to manage Juventus in 2020 but was sacked in the summer following a fourth-placed finish in Serie A.
