10 predictions for week 7 of Premier League 2018-19

Chelsea v Liverpool - Premier League
Chelsea v Liverpool

#4 Huddersfield Town (20) vs Tottenham Hotspur (5)

Yet to win a game this season, bottom of the league, with no signs of respite - that sums up The Terriers' season so far!

Tottenham on the other hand have had a decent start, but haven't really set the stage on fire, and certainly haven't presented themselves as genuine title contenders so far.

Nevertheless, this one should be a straight-forward win for Pochettino's team!

Prediction: 0-3

#5 Manchester City (2) vs Brighton & Hove Albion (13)

This one would seem like a complete mismatch on paper, but The Seagulls have been quite decent this season!

They were unlucky to lose against Spurs last weekend, but this one might be too big a gap in terms of quality to bridge for Hughton's boys!

City on the other hand would look at this fixture as another opportunity to enhance their goal difference, and with their main rivals sparring against each other, the noisy neighbors could regain the top spot in the league after the weekend!

Prediction: 3-0

#6 Newcastle United (18) vs Leicester City (9)

Rafa seems to have the fans on his side at Newcastle (possibly as they have a common enemy in Mike Ashley), but his team will need to start winning games to keep that going!

The point they won against Crystal Palace last week was quite lucky, as Sakho should have scored late on in the game!

Leicester on the other hand have been decent this season, and with the pace they have in their attacking unit, should be able to win this one pretty easily!

Prediction: 1-3

#7 Wolverhampton Wanderers (10) vs Southampton (14)

Manchester United v Wolverhampton Wanderers - Premier League
Espirito Santo's high flying Wolves should win this one

Wolves are being touted as the best promoted side since Dalglish's Blackburn team, but that might be taking it a bit too far!

Either way, they have produced classy performances this season, and have held both Manchester teams to draws. Their performances across the pitch have been impressive, and the Portuguese contingent in their squad have been delivering superbly on a regular basis.

Mark Hughes' Southampton haven't looked consistent, and would be happy with a point from this game.

That may not happen though, as Espirito Santo's high flying Wolves should win this one, especially as they've made Molineux a proper fortress!

Prediction: 3-1
