#2 Joao Cancelo
Cancelo has attracted plenty of interest and praise for his displays recently, despite only joining Juventus last summer himself. Quickly establishing himself as one of Europe's best fullbacks helped, as he formed a deadly partnership alongside compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old has been criticised by a seeming tendency to be weak in challenges, though stats suggest otherwise: an average of 1.9 tackles and 1.3 clearances per game across all competitions shows he's unafraid to get stuck in and defend when called upon.
Agile and rapid with an excellent passing range, Cancelo's creative tendencies have been easy to spot. Eight assists and a goal across all competitions for the Serie A champions doesn't do him full justice, though United would be expected to offer around €60m (£53.5m) for the Portuguese right-back, a relatively low price for a defender of his calibre.
