3. Marcos Alonso

The only thing that is keeping Marcos Alonso in Chelsea's first team this season has been Emerson's recurring injury. By substituting him with Reece James against Ajax in the Champions League, Lampard stated that he doesn't count on the Spaniard. So it's highly unlikely he would stay at Chelsea beyond this January.

Signed from Fiorentina in the summer of 2016, Antonio Conte deployed him as a wing-back to great success. Though he has been among the goals and assists, he was always considered a burden in the defensive phase. He never possessed attributes of a natural full-back and his poor work rate hasn't gone well with Lampard either.

Chelsea are already preparing for life after Alonso by monitoring the situation of Leicester City's Ben Chilwell. Azpilicueta's ability to feature as a left-back means Lampard is not short of a backup option for the time being. The Blues' promising young left-back Ian Maatsen made his debut in the Carabao Cup recently and if Lampard decides to involve him more, then its surely curtains for Alonso.

Atletico Madrid showed interest last summer but where put off by his high asking price. Surely, Chelsea want to cash in on the Spaniard and don't expect him to be available for cheap.
