The Burnley star was a rock at the back for The Clarets this season as they surprised everyone by finishing 7th in the table and qualifying for the Europa League as well. The Englishmen was crucial to their defence.
He also received his first England call-up and he narrowly missed out on the final 23 men squad. His performances have earned him many applauds and he has been a consistent performer for Burnley.
At the age of 25, he is likely to improve his game and he can take his game to the next level under Jurgen Klopp. He is good at blocking shots and his Ariel ability helps in attack and defence as well. Except for Van Dijk, Liverpool's other centre-backs have been inconsistent and he could provide them with good stability as well.
Liverpool are favourites to sign the defender this summer. Though they are likely to face competition from Tottenham.
