Lopetegui's failure to deliver positive results could attract a sack letter for him before the end of the season
Julen Lopetegui was lured to the Santiago Bernabeu by club president Florentino Perez as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane who decided to end his stint with the Spanish giants following his record third consecutive UEFA Champions League triumph last season.

The appointment was a controversial one that cost Lopetegui his job as the manager of the Spanish national team, and he now finds himself in a similar position at the Spanish capital. A couple of poor results have put the Spaniard's job on the line, and he is also one of the few LaLiga managers that could lose their jobs before the end of the season.
After winning his first 4 matches in charge of Los Blancos, the manager has failed to produce positive results since then - falling to 3 embarrassing defeats and a disappointing draw in his last 4 games, and he is also reportedly at war with his players who are not impressed with his tactics that look like a model of Barcelona's tiki-taka system.
