TAA put in quite a shift against Manchester City

If you ask me who was Liverpool's best player across the two legs, I'll say, without any second thoughts, it was Trent Alexander-Arnold. He is just 19 years old but put quite a few seasoned fullbacks to shame with the way he played. It was a splendid performance from him and he definitely put in a resolute defence down the right flank and nullified Leroy Sané completely.

He is currently Klopp's first choice right-back, pushing down Nathaniel Clyne, and has been consistently repaying the manager's faith in him.

If he can keep up the same form and consistency until the end of this season, then he might be on the plane to the World Cup.
