Massimiliano Allegri's future at Juventus seems uncertain. Following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, it is understandable that the Old Lady have a clear intention to win the Champions League. Unfortunately, they are now on the brink of elimination after being humbled 2-0 by Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their round of 16 tie.

Allegri is still on course to win another Serie A title but it won't come as a surprise if the Old Lady decide to sack the Italian if he fails to land a coveted European trophy.

If Juventus do indeed give Allegri the boot, here are 3 names they could consider as his replacement.

#1 Jurgen Klopp

The 51-year-old manager was immensely successful in Germany when he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund. He won 2 Bundesliga titles and took Dortmund to the 2012/13 Champions League final. After Klopp’s departure to Liverpool, Dortmund are yet to win a league trophy.

Klopp may still be trophyless at Liverpool, however, he has taken the Reds to a whole new level, reaching the Champions League final last season.

Klopp's pressing style would be beneficial to Juventus as the Old Lady have some hard-working players such as Alex Sandro in their ranks.

Couple his managerial skillset with the ability of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala and Juventus would be ready to conquer Europe.

#2 Zinedine Zidane

Zinedine Zidane is perhaps the favorite to replace Allegri. Some reports have linked the Frenchman with Chelsea, but despite these rumors, Zidane’s agent announced that his client was not interested in managing clubs in England, putting Juventus on high alert in the process.

The 46-year-old enjoyed some success in Real Madrid. Despite his relatively short tenure at the Bernabeu, Zidane broke many managerial records and brought some major trophies to Los Blancos, including 1 LaLiga and multiple Champions Leagues.

The Frenchman is the master of the Champions League, winning the competition 3 consecutive times with Madrid. Currently, there are no other managers on the market that boast of such a record in Europe.

Zidane is known for his man management skills and could get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo. Judging by his managerial prowess and achievements, Zidane is just what Juventus need right now.

#3 Jose Mourinho

No reports have linked Jose Mourinho to Juventus recently, however, it is not out of the question for the club to decide to appoint the Portuguese as their new manager.

Not many would argue about Mourinho’s capabilities to win major trophies. He has found success in every club he has managed, regardless of the budget provided.

Mourinho has a great record in Europe, winning both the Champions League and Europa League twice. Juventus are hungry for European glory and Mourinho can be the man to lead them to the Champions League title.
