#3. Danny Drinkwater
Drinkwater is a good player but he has no chance of finding a place in this Chelsea squad. If he was to try he would have to compete with Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus Cheek, Cesc Fabregas, Jorginho and Ngolo Kante. With so many players for only 1 position (considering the fact that Kante and Jorginho are irreplaceable), Drinkwater is not going to get any playing time.
He is not as fast or skilled as Kovacic, Loftus Cheek and Barkley and he isn't as industrious as Kante. While he may be more athletic than Jorginho and Fabregas he does not possess their vision and passing ability. Unfortunately, that makes him a liability to this Chelsea squad.
Leaving Chelsea in January would be a wise move for Danny Drinkwater if he has to desire and want to get consistent playing time.
