3) Matteo Darmian
Matteo Darmian arrived with the expectation of knuckling down that right-back position but lack of consistency and poor form has stopped him from doing so. He should leave as he is behind Antonio Valencia and Diogo Dalot in the right-back position and also the veteran Ashley Young.
We all thought the Italian would leave in the summer after continuous links with Italian Champions Juventus, but unfortunately for him, it failed to happen. He has been solid defensively but his attacking output has left a lot to be desired. The former Torino fullback has been unable to fully perform his duties at the standards expected at a club like Manchester United.
