Phil Jones has been out of the first-team picture for some time now. Since the start of last season, Jones has only made eight appearances for Manchester United. In fact, Jones is yet to make an appearance for the team in the current campaign. Injuries have plagued Jones as well in what has been a disappointing few years for a once-promising talent.
Jones has often made the headlines for all the wrong reasons, be it his reputation for scoring own goals or his tendency to make funny facial expressions during matches. There is a lot of competition in United's backline so Jones is likely to be sold in the summer.
#1 Sergio Romero
Romero's handling has been a sore spot for United supporters given how well he is loved at the club. Over the years, he has been a more than capable deputy for David De Gea. Romero has stepped in to put in crucial performances when the Spaniard had a dip in form in recent seasons.
Romero is yet to feature for United this season with the emergence of Dean Henderson. It remains to be seen what United will do in the summer window when it comes to Romero.
