Dejan Lovren is another of the many signings Liverpool have made from Southampton in recent years. He joined Liverpool in 2014 for €25 million and the Croatian international was a regular starter at the club for the seasons that followed. The arrivals of Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk pushed him further down the pecking order.

He has a total of 182 appearances in a Liverpool shirt but has managed just 8 Premier League appearances this season. He has come under criticism several times due to his inconsistent performances and crumbling down in pressure situations.

The 30-year-old is out of contract in the summer of 2021 but can leave the club this winter to find a starting spot in another club. He knows that he's pretty much down in the pecking order in Klopp's defensive selection and a January move could materialize for the Croatian defender.
